The Mission of Imagine8 is to engage the greater Marion area in an open, all-inclusive discussion to develop 8 ideas that will enhance the quality of life and create a strong identity for our community. Imagine8 is a grass roots effort where community citizens gather together to envision the future. Special thanks to Farmers State Bank, KCRG TV9, Marion Iron, Clear Channel Radio and V.i.P.S. for generously funding this process. The Marion Chamber of Commerce will serve as facilitators and provide information to the community groups in the coming months.
The City is currently undergoing a planning and design process to establish a future vision for the Marion Central Corridor. This new Corridor Master Plan will guide public and private sector decision making and development in our Central Core. We have a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the creation of this plan.For more information click on the link below.
